A Barbie Girl, in the Barbie World

Window Display

Finally, my first post in New York City! While I take up temporary residence here, allow me to share the bizarre, wonderful things I find in the city.

Barbie is such a huge cultural icon, it’s scary. But the students at the Fashion Institute of Technology have created an awesome exhibit, The Pink Issue, around the theme. I can’t wait until I have time to go inside to see it in detail!

And if you’re in the Barbie spirit, I think you’ll enjoy this: http://www.tarinatarantino.com

And the award goes to….

Its such as you read my thoughts! You seem to understand so much about this, such as you wrote the ebook in it or something. I believe that you simply could do with a few p.c. to force the message house a bit, however instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.

Lumier Noire: Let Your Darkness Shine

Lumier Noir will never tell you how to dress, what the latest runway trend is, or what celebrity is on the cover of this month's Vogue.

I believe fashion is a means to self-expression. I Believe in the contradictory, the bold, and the unusual.

I believe in letting your individuality show.
So let your darkness shine.

Shine On!
